INFANT ADOPTION Requirements for Infant Adoption: Families must reside in one of the nine Southern Arizona counties: Cochise, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, La Paz, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz, or Yuma. Both parents must be between 25 and 50 years of age. The couple must be legally married, for a minimum of three years. The family must be financially and emotionally stable. There must be an infertility problem or medical issue that prevents or contraindicates pregnancy. The couple may have no more than one child already in their family.
Please note, Families who do not meet all criteria may still adopt children who have special needs, including medical problems or other risk factors in the background, either locally or internationally. For more information, please contact (520) 623-0344 ext. 1060.
