Employee Benefits

We have an outstanding group of individuals – our employees.  As an employer of choice we’ve built a reputation as a great place to work, and we cultivate an environment where individuals will want to stay, and grow professionally.  The dedication of employees throughout our corporation is a reflection of our success in this area.  We are directly responsible for our clients, and for a financially healthy organization, that provides excellent service to our communities.

Committed, energetic employees are our most important resource.  We support diversity in the workplace and cultivate an atmosphere where people of all backgrounds are encouraged to participate fully in the growth, development and success of Catholic Communities Services (CCS).

Your Total Compensation Package

Pay -- We strive to offer a competitive base pay as a foundation.  When financially possible, we provide a salary increase each year.   CCS is committed to improving our pay practices by developing and continually modifying our Compensation Plan.  The goal – to support our work environment by improving our employee practices so we can recruit, train and retain competent and ethical staff.

Retirement Planning -- Each year we reward employees through a combination of a Defined Contribution Plan, and we offer a 403(b) plan with a matching dollar feature.

BenefitsCCS Medical benefits are generous compared to other companies in our area.  We provide 100% fully paid Medical Insurance to all eligible employees.  CCS subsidizes Children's medical coverage, so employees can afford to cover eligible family members.

Life Insurance 100% fully paid Life Insurance is provided to each eligible employee.

Long Term Disability -- CCS provides each eligible employee with 100% fully paid Long Term Disability.

Vacation (time away from work) – As a newly hired employee, CCS provides 80 hours of Vacation pay!  The vacation pay increases significantly for longevity.   Employees who work for CCS more than fifteen years enjoy 200 hours (25 days) of Vacation pay!

HolidayCCS provides ten (10) paid holidays for our eligible employees:  New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Sick Leave -- Eligible employees accrue 56 hours (7 days) of Sick Leave per year based upon a 40-hour work week.

The significance of sick leave and long term disability is salary protection.  In the case of illness/disability that could have you out of work for a period of time, you would access your sick leave.  If you are unable to work for an extended period of time, you would access your long term disability insurance.  Both of these insurances are 100% fully paid by CCS.

More Benefits -- Dental and Vision plans are available for employees and their families at competitive prices.

Pre-Tax Cafeteria Plan – CCS provides a Cafeteria Plan where employees may elect to have eligible health expenses reimbursed on a pre-tax basis.  Additionally, employees may elect a pre-tax Dependent Care reimbursement account.

Professional Advancement and Growth - Our commitment to employee development includes:

  • Promotion from within whenever possible
  •
  • Professional development whenever possible
