Catholic Community Services - Tucson invites loving parents who want to open their hearts and homes to an adoptive child in the foster care system. If you are looking to grow your family through adoption, or simply desire additional information, please contact our Adoption Certification Specialist at 520-780-1202.
The Certified Adoptions Programs is a process in which those who wish to adopt a child from the State of Arizona Department of Child Safety undergo rigorous background checks, document submissions and interviewing. Upon submission of a Home Study report to the Court, a Judge decides whether to certify the person(s) as adoptive parents.
After parents become certified, there is a "match" process to pick the optimum relational match between child(ren) and parents. This is based on a multitude of factors including parental openness to sex, age, sibling group, behavioral patterns, mental health, and ethnicity/race.
Interest in the Certified Adoptions Program does not guarantee a child will be placed for adoption with the interested parent.
