|
For over 25
years, Catholic Community Services Domestic Violence Program has been providing
domestic violence information, training and other prevention services, as well
as, assistance and support for the residents as they work through their unique
situations. We are always on the other end of the phone at any given hour of
the day to help.
Our shelters
provide a safe haven, case management, advocacy, networking with other agencies
and the community to help normalize and stabilize their lives. We work with the residents to empower them
with the tools they need in order to make positive changes in their lives and
succeed in accomplishing their goals.
During the group sessions the women in and out of shelter work hard turn
their lives around, to listen to others from similar situations, recognizing
that they are not alone in their struggles to succeed, learn, develop and empower
themselves. We also provide services for
battered immigrant women.
Our shelter
staff is passionate, dedicated and care and always go the extra mile to offer
help. The shelter staff participates in
community projects and groups, prevention awareness and training programs and
work diligently to stop domestic violence.
