Tim Kromer Joins Catholic Community Services as Executive Director of Philanthropy

TUCSON, Ariz. - (April 16, 2025): Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona (CCS) is proud to announce the appointment of Tim Kromer as its new Executive Director of Philanthropy, where he will lead fundraising, donor engagement, and development strategy across CCS’s expansive network of programs.

Tim brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership and a lifelong commitment to service. He previously served as Executive Director of the Amphi Foundation, where he led the organization from a deficit to a surplus, secured Arizona Charitable Tax Credit status, and significantly expanded both donor and grant support. Prior to that, he served for nearly nine years at Interfaith Community Services, including time as Interim CEO, where he spearheaded community partnerships, led major outreach programs, and helped guide strategic growth.

Tim holds a Master of Divinity from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts from Florida Southern College. A former United Methodist pastor, he brings a deep understanding of faith-based service and community collaboration. Tim and his wife, Laurel, live in Tucson with their son Steven, age 5.

As Executive Director of Philanthropy, Tim will oversee all development efforts in support of CCS’s life-changing programs that serve the most vulnerable across Southern Arizona.
