Low-income seniors live in safe, affordable, and beautiful apartments, surrounded with friends and activities at Pio Decimo Center’s two senior housing complexes: Barrio Viejo Elderly Housing and Casitas on East Broadway.
Barrio Viejo, situated across the street from Pio Decimo Center, offers 62 single-story casita apartments painted in bright colors with grounds landscaped with desert flora. Casitas on East Broadway, conveniently located at Broadway and Plumer, is a two-story building with 57 apartments.
As HUD 202 housing programs, residents must be 62 years of age and older. Rent is equal to 30% of the resident’s adjusted monthly income.
How to participate:
Ask that your name be placed on a list to receive an application. Due to high occupancy, applications are normally provided once a year. After your completed application is received and reviewed, your name will be placed on a waiting list for an available apartment.
