Low-income seniors live in safe, affordable, and beautiful apartments, surrounded with friends and activities at Pio Decimo Center’s two senior housing complexes: Barrio Viejo Elderly Housing and Casitas on East Broadway.
Barrio Viejo, situated across the street from Pio Decimo Center, offers 62 single-story casita apartments painted in bright colors with grounds landscaped with desert flora. Casitas on East Broadway, conveniently located at Broadway and Plumer, is a two-story building with 57 apartments.
As HUD 202 housing programs, residents must be 62 years of age and older. Rent is equal to 30% of the resident’s adjusted monthly income.
How to participate:
Ask that your name be placed on a list to receive an application. Applications are accepted all year long, but due to high occupancy, and high demand, space is extremely limited. After your completed application is received and reviewed, your name will be placed on a waiting list for an available apartment.
